Your commitment has been pivotal in our journey since the inception of Anchor Ethiopia in 2022, a Civil Society Organization dedicated to uplifting disadvantaged communities suffering from extreme poverty and systemic injustices. Over the past decade, Ethiopia has faced a multitude of challenges. Since 2014, the nation has grappled with escalating violence and interethnic conflicts, resulting in the displacement of hundreds of thousands of individuals from their homes. It is a stark reality that Ethiopia has, at times, been ranked first in Africa for the number of internally displaced people (IDPs). This context has profoundly shaped our mission at Anchor Ethiopia. Understanding the urgent needs of our country, we have focused our efforts on fostering inclusive peace, social justice, and sustainable development.
Our motto—“Anchoring Peace, Social Justice, and Accelerating Sustainable Development”—reflects our commitment to these goals. However, achieving such ambitious objectives is not possible without your continued partnership.
